District Executive Committee Meeting

The District Executive Council Meeting (DECM) is a vital monthly gathering where District Officers and members of District committees come together to discuss and strategize around club, area, division, and district goals. This meeting serves as a platform not only for addressing various district business matters but also for providing valuable leadership training that equips members with the skills and knowledge necessary to excel in their respective roles. The discussions and decisions made during these meetings are crucial for ensuring the smooth operation and success of the district as a whole.

The District Executive Committee includes the District Director, Program Quality Director, Club Growth Director, District Public Relations Manager, District Administration Manager, District Finance Manager, Division Directors, Area Directors, and Immediate Past District Director. Apart from these leadership roles, only individuals who are invited by the District Director and have specific business before the committee may attend District Executive Committee meetings.

At these meetings, we make decisions affecting the whole District and every single club within it. We will consider and vote on items such as

  • Approving the District Success Plan
  • Approving budgets
  • Electing district officers
  • Changing district procedures and bylaws
  • Re-aligning clubs
