Club Officer Training
Effective training for officers is essential to the success of any Club. Without well-prepared officers, clubs struggle to meet members’ needs and share the benefits of Toastmasters with others. Club officer training also plays a vital role in leadership development. We offer training sessions twice a year:
- First Round is conducted between June 1 and August 31.
- Second Round is held between November 1 and February 28.
Participation in these sessions earns clubs credit toward the training goal in the Distinguished Club Program.
To receive the full benefit of officers’ training, members should watch the session videos from the July 11, 2026 Toastmasters Leadership Institute.
Training Schedule
Note that all District 205 events originate in Northern California, so times shown are Pacific Time (3rd Sun Mar – 1st Sat Nov: GMT-7 / 1st Sun Nov – 3rd Sat Mar: GMT -8).

A Club Officer can attend a training session anywhere in the world. If you attend a session outside our home District, please clearly mention your full name, club number, club name and our District number (205) on all sign in sheets. District 205’s Program Quality Director will then be informed by the counterpart in the host District. To avoid any delays in processing your COT credits, you may also send a note to quality@d205tm.org providing the details you mentioned on the sign in sheet plus the host District number.
Please let us know if you attended club officer training outside of District 205 so that we can credit you accordingly. As new sessions are finalized, all these calendars (that of District 205 and others) will be updated accordingly, so please check regularly.
