District Bucks
District Bucks are funds managed by the District on behalf of your club. Every time your club earns an incentive, the award amount is added to your club’s District Bucks account. This gives your club the ability to make purchases that support your club’s mission and helps it grow. Examples include projectors, microphones, cameras, ribbons, pins, and other tools that help your club run smoothly and effectively, along with assisting with meeting space rental fees. Alcohol and gift cards are not allowed.
Once an item is purchased, the club submits a reimbursement request through Concur (accounts are being created through Toastmasters International for club Treasurers). The total cost must be equal to or less than the amount available in the Club’s District Bucks account.
Use the District 205 Incentive Tracker to check your club’s balance.

- Select your club from the Club Name dropdown list.
- Enter the word club followed by your 8 digit club number, without a space, into the Password field (Ex: club00001234).
- Click the login button.

2026-2027 DISTRICT BUCK INCENTIVES
RewardThe 2026-2027 District Bucks incentives have been determined. They are primarily based on the Distinguished Club Plan (DCP) goals.

| Open House Challenge | Clubs that run an Open House between July 1st and September 30th or between January 1st and March 31stand add 2 new members within 6 weeks of the event will receive $25 in District Bucks. Introduction to District Bucks
District 205 Toastmasters uses an innovative way to handle club incentives through the District Bucks program. This initiative enables clubs to earn and accumulate District Bucks into an account for every incentive they achieve, effectively acting as a special fund for acquiring bigger and better tools and resources that support their missions.
With the shift towards more virtual and hybrid meeting formats, the program allows for the purchase of essential equipment like cameras, projectors, and microphones. This means clubs can deck out their meeting spaces for hybrid setups, making it easier to engage with members both online and offline. However, there are clear guidelines—while practical purchases for club growth are encouraged, items like alcohol are not permissible.

Gift Cards
Toastmasters International mandates a strict policy on the use of third-party gift cards. Districts are prohibited from purchasing or reimbursing these gift cards for gifts or incentives, as per Protocol 8.4 Section 8. The objective is to safeguard the organization’s tax-exempt status by ensuring expenses align with its educational mission. While showing appreciation and promoting goodwill are encouraged, they should not be lavish or excessive, and cash equivalents like gift cards are strictly prohibited.
Note: If you receive an email from any Toastmaster asking you to purchase gift cards, it is a scam, and you should not follow those instructions. We are all bound by the “no gift card” restriction.
