We’re pleased to welcome Karen Burgess, DTM, our Toastmasters Region Advisor, to District 205 from Tuesday, November 3, through Monday, November 9.
What is a Region Advisor?
Think of a Region Advisor as a coach and mentor for District leadership. These experienced past District leaders are appointed by Toastmasters International to support and guide the District Trio and extended leadership team.
Why does this visit matter to our clubs?
Karen’s work with District leaders supports stronger clubs and a better member experience. During her visit, she will help our leadership team:
- Build new clubs through corporate and community demonstration meetings.
- Strengthen our strategy by reviewing the District Success Plan and how we direct resources to support club success.
- Develop leaders through training for Area, Division, and club leaders.
Her visit offers an opportunity to learn from her experience, exchange ideas, and strengthen connections across our District.
